Luke chuckled softly as he led Amy out of the mall, gently pulling her towards Route 104. Turning to the girl, he murmured, "I hope you don't mind bugs!" Gesturing to the woods that blocked their way, he explained, "These are the Petalburg Woods. Once we get through the Woods, we'll be able to see the sea." He smiled at the girl. "Let's go!"

After hearing the bug part Amy shuddered, she wasn't used to be around bugs as she has spent most of her life around Rock, Psychic, and Water pokemon "I... I think I'm ok with bugs" though she secretly hoped they didn't find that many bugs. "I hope we get to the ocean soon" she said to distract herself of all the bugs that may appear on their way around the woods.

OOC: Hooe you don't mind the timeskip, Lizzie... Luke smiled at the girl's nervousness and gently led her into the woods. ~Timeskip to Reaching the Seashore~ Luke turned to Amy. "See? That wasn't so bad! There were only a few bugs!" he teased, smirking slightly. Then, suddenly, serious, he murmured, "Close your eyes, Amy." Leading Amy through the last few feet of the woods, Luke couldn't help gasping the slightest bit at the beautiful view. The sun was just descending below the horizon and it cast its rays over the ocean, coloring the water pink and red, yellow and orange. Silhouetted against the sun, Wingulls were flying around, cawing softly. The sky was a beautiful wash of purple, blue, pink, orange, and red. Luke murmured softly, "Amy, you can look now." |

"I... I wasn't bothered by the bugs" She lied, Amy didn't like that Luke had realized that she was a bit scared of bugs. When he told her to close her eyes she did and let herself be guided by Luke, though she hoped that she wouldn't stumble with anything with her eyes closed.
After Luke allowed her to open her eyes she just blinked several times, that sight must be a dream it was just too beautiful to be true. She was used to going to the beach, after all she was born at Shalour City but this was the first time she saw such a beautiful ocean. She wasn't sure if this place was more beautiful than her hometown, or if the difference was that Luke was with her but she was just too happy to be there, secretly wishing that they could stay in that moment forever. After a brief moment of silence she said "It's... beautiful" She turned to look at Luke "Thank you Luke for bringing me here... This place is... Amazing" A lovely smile appeared on her face just for the boy to show him how happy and grateful she was. Amy wanted to kiss him but she held back, they had agreed on being just friends and she wanted to respect that promise not matter how hard it was for her at that time.

Luke smiled shyly at Amy's words, blushing the slightest bit. "Yes, it is beautiful..." he murmured, his smile growing wider, "But, not as beautiful as you are." Gently, the Latios Communicator brushed his lips against Amy's cheek, forgetting about the promise that, for now, they were just friends. "I... I wish this moment would just last... forever."

Amy was surprised by Luke's kiss, her cheeks were colored with a light pink shade. She was extremely happy by Luke's actions and words "So do I... It would be so wonderful if we could stay like this for an eternity" She smiled at the boy and soon she found herself lost admiring all his beautiful features from his dark hair to his gorgeous eyes, she loved everything about him, it was impossible to deny that she was in love with him.

Luke smiled softly. "We'll need to go back now, I suppose. Luca and Rayna probably think we're dead or something. They never replied to my message." he mumbled, the smile vanishing from his face. "I... I'm sorry, Amy. I really enjoyed it, though." Gently, the Latios Communicator slipped his fingers through those of his beloved and led her away from the sea and the setting sun.
OOC: And I think that'll be it for the first short story, unless Lizzie has any objections. ^-^
