Nexus is bad at intros, so I just sorta deleted everything he wrote and replaced it with my intro. And if you can't tell, yes, it's Mari here.
Anyways, so we are carrying on from where "In My Hands" ended. Nexus will be using Day Wing, Konoe Rin, Nanashi Kazuo, and Minato Rei, while I will be using Arietta "Ari" Rei, Virginia Eyre, and Duchess Hazel Brown. In addition, we (and by this, I mean "I") have created a new character, the main antagonist of this short story, who is named Anthony "Anti" Nexus (get it?), the Genesect Communicator. Nanashi, Virginia, Minato, and Hazel will all be working on defeating Anti, while Ari, Day, and Konoe will continue their search for clues.
Note that this short story isn't very important, unless you're looking for something like more character development, some fluff, or some more information about Hazel that was not revealed in the main roleplay.
Finally, I'm rating this T, because there might be a lot of blood (maybe even death, teehee) in the story. This might change when we get further into the story, but for now, it's T.

OOC: I've been busy, so sorry for the long wait, Nexus! ^-^ And it's not super long, but I haven't really had a ton of motivation to roleplay lately, but I think you know that.  Ari yawned as her eyes fluttered open in the thin sunlight. Silently, she pulled herself off of the forest floor, brushing dead leaves out of her hair. It had been two days since the meeting with Duchess Hazel and Minato and she, along with Konoe and Day, had been heading towards Anura to continue their search for clues relating to the Legendary Pokémon. As far as Ari could tell, Konoe and Day were already awake, since they weren't anywhere nearby and they normally always stayed near her. Ari rose to her feet, rubbing her eyes absentmindedly as she scanned the surrounding area for Konoe and Day. Ari's movement had awakened Kokoro, who instantly leaped upwards to hover protectively over the Meloetta Communicator's right shoulder. Ari smiled at the Inkay, who made no response, as she walked towards the stream they had camped beside, fallen leaves crunching loudly beneath her heels. The girl knelt down, cupping a handful of water within her hands as she silently began to wait for her older companions to come and find her. ~~~ Hazel silently moved her mouse to click the red "X" at the top-right corner of the webpage, the page closing smoothly on the screen of her laptop. She smiled slightly, the corners of her mouth curving up slightly as she stood, glancing for a moment at the bottom-right corner of her screen before nodding slowly to herself and walking over to the couch where Minato was sleeping. It wasn't that late, only eight o'clock, but they needed to get a move on. Hazel gently set a hand on her companion's shoulder, lightly shaking him awake. "Minato, wake up! We need to get going!" she mumbled absentmindedly. |

"Good morning, Ari." Came the happy voice of Konoe as she appeared from the trees behind Ari, in her 'normal' combat attire, the back of her hair pulled up into a neat bun while her bangs split off in the front, he hair looking a little damp from the wash she had given it earlier. It had luckily been a rather in eventful night and morning, much to the blue haired girl's satisfaction. Walking over to the Meloetta Communicator, Konoe sat down next to the girl, folding her legs underneath her, "I talked with Day this morning; he said that we were going to get a ride on a plane today out of Johto so that we could get to Anura." She told the girl, " He went to town to get the tickets." She added, before falling silent, waiting for the girl's response.

Minato's eye's slowly opened up, much slower than the past two days. It was pretty noticeable that all his sleepless nights were finally catching up with him, but while he seemed slower, his eye's were still sharp as they opened, though they softened as they caught sight of Hazel. Yawning, Minato moved his hand up to rub the sleep from his eye's, "Good morning, Du-er...Hazel." He said, still having difficulty adjusting to what the girl wanted him to call as he sat up slowly, the blanket he had used the night before falling to his wait. He still had his pants and shirt on though. Stretching his arm's above his head, Minato rubbed the back of his head as he leaned back, still attempting to wake up.

Ari's eyes widened at the sound of Konoe's voice and she immediately turned her head to glance at Konoe, grinning at the older girl. "Good morning, Konoe! I'm glad that we're going to Anura. Anura's a really pretty region. Do you know when Day will be back?" she asked, before silently turning back to splash the cool water onto her face. Ari stood as she wiped her face dry, her questioning glance fixed on Konoe. "Day'll be fine, won't he? He always seems to be getting into some sort of trouble or another." she mumbled, the edges of her lips curving up slightly into a small smile. ~~~ Hazel smirked when she noticed how tired Minato seemed, feeling slightly glad for the fact that she didn't need sleep. As he mumbled a soft "Good morning," Hazel suppressed the urge to roll her eyes as she mumbled in reply, "Strange how it was so easy to call me 'Hazel' back when you technically weren't supposed to, but it's now quite impossible to call me anything but 'Duchess,' but good morning to you, too." The girl's teasing demeanor quickly vanished when she silently folded her arms over her chest as she said, "We're leaving in half an hour so I suggest you go find some breakfast as soon as possible." |

Konoe couldn't help but smirk, hearing Ari's last remark about Day, "I suppose you're right, trouble does seem to follow Day around." She agreed, before she gave a reassuring look, "But he should be fine-hopefully. As for your other question; he should be back very soon" She said. Setting her hands in her lap, Konoe tilted her head to the side, "You mentioned Anura being pretty? Have you been there before?" She asked, modest curiosity in her voice. Konoe herself had never been outside of Birth Island or a Team Eternity base until Ecruteak.

Minato frowned inwardly, feeling bad after he had heard what Hazel had said about him calling her by her title. After a moment of simply staring up at the girl in front of him, he sighed and closed his eye's again, rubbing the sleep from his eye's, "I'll be fine without food, no worries. I had a nice dinner." He commented, before he took the blanket off of his lap and set it to the side, standing up as he did so. Stretching his arm's above his head, Minato turned away from Hazel to walk over to his two cases, kneeling down and opening each of them in turn; closing them right after, an agreeing look on his face. Standing again, Minato glanced back at Hazel, walking towards her and grabbing his heavy coat off the couch, "So where are we going?" He asked, curious as he stopped in front of the girl, just barely tilting his head down to look at her as he slipped his jacket on.

OOC: Introducing an OP villain: Ari smiled in reply to Konoe's question. "I was born in Sierra City and I've lived there all my life." she said proudly, "Of course, I've been to plenty of the other Anuran cities with my family. My sisters always had some sort of show or something, so I did get to visit lots of places." The Meloetta Communicator glanced at Konoe. "Have you never been to Anura before? It's a very popular region, especially with Sierra City, Nredom City, and Onhcet City." she mumbled. ~~~ Hazel's face suddenly became even more serious as she mumbled, "I've gotten us plane tickets to Castelia City. It may seem extremely sudden, but Castelia City has been attacked and it now lies completely in ruins, including the Team Eternity headquarters that was built to last through almost any attack. Before the headquarters collapsed, however, our cameras managed to capture a few photos..." The girl trailed off as she pulled three blurry photographs out from her pocket. "I printed these off earlier." she continued, "The first one shows a boy. I sent this to Akarui and she managed to identify him as Anthony Nexus. The second still shows Anthony Nexus, but something seems to be happening to the lower half of his body, like he is transforming into something. Finally, the third shows a Genesect, one of the Legendary Pokèmon." As she spoke, she gestured to each photograph. "The only explanation for this is that this Anthony Nexus is a Communicator and, most likely, the Genesect Communicator. If you recall, Luca Gremory, the former Genesect Communicator died a few weeks ago, so I am almost certain that Anthony is the Genesect Communicator. However, that would mean that he is immensely dangerous and that he must be approached with caution, especially since he is able to transform into Genesect. We might as well as try to hunt him down and defeat him before he kills more civilians..." Hazel paused for a brief moment before looking away from Minato. "Nobody survived his attack on Castelia, Minato. Nobody." ~~~ Virginia's eyes widened as she scanned through the news report. "Oh, Arceus!" she whispered over and over as she continued to read, "I don't think even Team Eternity would do something as terrible as this... but who else would have the power to do so? Maybe Nanashi will know something?" She silently glanced over towards Nanashi, who still slumbered on one of the two beds in the room. Virginia minimized the window on her computer, rising to her feet to walk over to Nanashi. She gently shook him a few times, calling, "Nanashi! Wake up!" |

Konoe flushed a light pink as she glanced away from Ari, "Erm, well...No, I've never been to Anura." She said a little awkwardly, her hand moving from her lap to tuck a stray strand of hair behind her ear, "Other than the time I spent with Day on Birth Island when we were young, I've never been outside a Team Eternity base until just recently..." She said, sounding a bit embarrassed. Taking a moment to shake her head, she smiled again at Ari, "But I guess there's a first for everything." She said positively, before her comment was suddenly followed by another voice, "That's very true, and I hear that Anura is very beautiful this time of the year." Came Day's voice as he appeared on the spot off to the side of the two girl's. Konoe's eye's widened and she quickly stood up, smiling at Day as she brushed a bit of dirt from her knees, "You're back. Did you get the tickets?" She asked, to which Day smiled at her, pulling three small pieces of paper from his pocket, "Of course." He said quickly, before turning his attention to Ari and walking over to the girl and the floating Inkay, kneeling down in front of the two. Setting one hand on Kokoro and the other the Meloetta Communicator, Day smiled, "Morning you two, how'd you sleep?" He asked, though the question was directed more towards Ari as he ruffled the girl's hair gently. ~~~~~ Minato was quiet as he listened to Hazel's explanation, his face remaining rather unreadable throughout the entire story. Hearing that a new Communicator had been chosen, and that he had wiped out an entire population and city was surprising, but Minato knew there was no point in getting mad or feeling sad; people like this Anthony existed, and it was just something that Minato knew himself, as well as others, had to understand. Frowning when Hazel looked away, after mentioning that nobody had survived his attack, Minato lifted his hand from his pocket and set his hand on the girl's cheek gently, offering a supportive smile, "Hey, worrying so much won't get us too far, neither will feeling sad about the people, or at least, not now." He said. He had never really been good at comforting others, so this wasn't something that was easy for him, but he was trying his best, "Right now, we just need to find him and stop him...after that, we can mourn for the lives he took." Minato offered. Although he didn't say it, the situation didn't sound too good, especially considering the fact that Minato was just as easy to kill as any other human, and if this guy had wiped out an entire civilization...Minato shook the thoughts from his head, and gave his full attention back to Hazel as he let his hand slip from her cheek and back to his side, waiting for her response. ~~~~~ Nanashi woke up pretty easily, though he looked no better awake than he had sleeping. Opening his eye's, which over the past few weeks, had become a very pale blue color, he smiled up at Virginia, "G'morning, beautiful." He said, closing his eye's tightly as he gave a loud yawn, covering his mouth with his blankets. Sitting up, the blankets slipped off Nanashi, and for a moment, his ice-covered chest was visible before he grabbed his shirt from the floor and slipped it over his head. Since they had left the frozen castle, Nanashi's condition hadn't changed much, and his weariness seemed to fade, but he still had weak moments, both physically and mentally, though they weren't recurring things. Sighing, he ran his hand over his face, moving his hair out of his face, before he looked up at Virginia, "So what's up? It's not normally like you to be up so early?" He asked. |

Ari had been about to reply to Konoe when she heard Day's voice. She grinned at the older boy happily. "Good morning, Ani-san. I slept well, thanks for asking. I trust that you didn't get into any trouble? When are we leaving? Where exactly in Anura are we going?" she replied cheerfully, bombarding the Deoxys Communicator with questions. Kokoro glanced over at Ari, rolling her eyes before she turned her attention to Day, replying to his question telepathically, Good morning to you too. I slept well, thank you very much for asking, Day-san.~~~ Hazel tried to smile back in reply to Minato, though her eyes were filled with worry. "I... I just don't want to lose you..." she murmured softly, "You know I'd never forgive myself if something happened to you..." Moments later, her eyes steeled once more as she glanced purposefully at her watch. "The plane leaves in two hours. I find it strange that there are actually pilots and passengers willing to fly to Castelia, but maybe that's just me. We'd better hurry." she said. Without another word, the girl turned away, striding towards the small desk she had left her laptop on. She closed the laptop and began packing it away as if nothing had happened. ~~~ Virginia felt a small smile tugging at her lips in reply to Nanashi's greeting, but the smile quickly vanished when she saw the ice on the Kyurem Communicator's chest. You can question him about that later, Virginia. First things first... Seriousness filled the girl's eyes as she began to explain what she had read in the news report. As she finished, she mumbled, "Do you know if Team Eternity has anything to do with this? Nobody really knows what happened..." |

Day smiled at Kokoro first, before turning his attention once more to Ari, his hand's slipping back to his side as he stood up once more, pulling one of the tickets out and reading over the information on it, "You need not worry, kiddo, even if I did get into trouble, I am still here." He said, winking at the Meloetta Communicator before shifting his eye's once more to the ticket, "I bought us three plane tickets straight to Sierra, Anura. I went there once when I was younger; thought it'd be a good place to look for clues. We're to take off in just a few hours." He said, feigning ignorance. He knew full well that Sierra was where Arietta was from, but at the same time, there was something that attracted him to the town, and while in the past times he had been to the town when he was much younger, it had been the presence of a possible Communicator, who had grown up to become a lovely young girl, this time it was something different. Behind Day, Konoe felt a small frown play at her lips, though it vanished a fast as it came about as she smiled again, cradling her arm's in front of herself as she watched Day interacting with Ari. ~~~~~ Minato frowned as he watched Hazel move away, as if she hadn't just said anything. Sighing sadly, the teen moved back to the couch and began to fold the blanket he had used the other night; he had nothing to pack up, everything he owned as always packed and ready to go. As Minato worked, he refrained from trying to think much on the fact that Hazel had suddenly shut off so quickly, she confused him in so many ways he didn't know where to start the list. Standing from the couch, Minato stared at the wall behind the couch for a moment, before he made a low, disapproving noise under his breath that sounded like him clicking his tongue to the roof of his mouth, and he turned around to look at Hazel. Staring at the girl for a moment, Minato quickly remembered what had occurred between him and the Duchess just nights ago; her confession to liking him. Quietly walking up behind the girl, Minato wrapped his hand's around her waist and pulled her into himself, resting his head on her shoulder gently, "...Try to watch you're own back when we get there, I'm nowhere near as strong as you are, but you're not infallible either..." He said, hoping she would take his words seriously, before he flushed a little bit, though his tone stayed steady, "I really do care for you...about you...I really don't want to lose you either, Hazel." He said, trying to ignore the feeling that his Pokemon were probably listening in on his words, ready to make fun of him the next time they had the chance. Closing his eye's, Minato took a shallow breath, 'Don't stop just yet...' He told himself, before opening his eye's again and gently squeezing the Duchess close to him, "You may be my superior, the leader of Team Eternity, and the Duchess," he said slowly, putting emotion into his words, the passive mask he always wore on his face nowhere in sight, "But you're also a lot more than any of that to me..." He finally finished, falling silent happily, this being the longest he had probably talked at one time at any point in his life as he waited for Hazel's response. |

Ari blinked at Day a few times, her mind silently whirring. He knows who I am... so he should know that I lived in Sierra City... D-does he want me to run into Alita and Rowan or something? I really don't want to run into them... Maybe he doesn't know... Ignoring what was going on in her mind, the girl grinned at Day, saying, "Ooooh, Sierra City is really pretty! It's one of the best cities in Anura! I lived there before I discovered that I was a Communicator. I could show you two around!" Her smile was one that she had practiced many times, one of complete happiness. It wasn't genuine and Ari knew it, though she also knew that rarely could anyone tell. ~~~ Hazel's eyes widened in surprise as she felt a pair of strong arms gently wrap around her waist. When Minato finished speaking, Hazel took a deep breath before mumbling, "Minato..." She slipped free of Minato's embrace, before turning to face him, her eyes shining. Without another word, she threw her arms around the boy, pulling him close to her. "I really love you, you know." she whispered, her cheeks starting to turn a pale pink color. She didn't say anything else, merely resting her head against Minato's chest, though she added silently, And I'll do anything to keep you safe... |

Day could only offer a continuous smile for Ari as he listened to her, "Sounds like you're already looking forward to going." He lied, quite smoothly. Shifting his weight from one foot to the other, Day turned and began walking in the direction of the camping site the small trio had been using, "I'll start packing up. I'll let you two get ready too." He said, before disappearing into the forest, lost in the trees. Konoe didn't move, though she watched Day until he was gone, before looking back to Ari, "...I think he knows that your smile was fake..." She said as she walked up to the girl and crouched in front of her, softly pinching the Meloetta Communicator's cheek, "You could have just told him the truth..." She said, waiting for the girl to explain herself.

It took Minato a moment to react, but he lovingly wrapped his arm's around Hazel once more, lowering his head a bit. He felt happy, knowing that the Duchess had strong feelings for him, but he wasn't sure himself just how he felt about her, though he was sure that the fact came from his fear and dislike of Ashburn. Taking a deep breath, he nodded, "Don't worry about me. Take care of yourself out there." He said, "You're important to a lot more people than I am." He muttered, hoping his words would stick.

Nanashi could only offer Virginia a puzzled look, "No, as far as I know, Team Eternity has been rather dormant lately, probably because of what happened in Ecruteak with that one Communicator..." Nanashi said, "Day or something if I remember correctly. I'm sure the Count wasn't happy about that one." He said, offering a small smile as he trailed off for a moment.

Ari replied to Konoe with a swift, innocent smile. "I don't know what you're talking about, Ane-chan. Why would I be smiling a fake smile? I really do want to get back to Sierra City." she said, some genuine happiness in her voice this time, "There would be nothing fake for Ani-san to see. Anyways, I don't have much to pack up, but you should go pack up anything you need to." ~~~ Hazel took a deep breath, but she didn't reply to Minato's words, knowing that she might not be able to do as he asked. She just pulled the boy closer towards her. A few more moments passed and Hazel murmured, "I hate to say it, Minato, but we really need to get going or we'll miss the plane." With that, she gently moved her arms away from Minato. ~~~ Virginia sighed, rising to her feet. "Then, we have a problem, because the only other possibility would be... a Communicator." she muttered. Her eyes narrowed as she glanced at Nanashi again. "Get up, Nanashi. We need to get to Castelia City as quickly as possible. We need to figure out what's going on." |

Konoe frowned a bit as she seemed to study Ari's smile for almost a minute. Seeming to have come to some sort of a conclusion, the blue haired girl gave a soft smile and stood up, "Try not to stay here too long. It's dangerous to be alone." She said, before turning away from the Meloetta Communicator and walking towards the camp, disappearing into the trees.
After walking for a few minutes, Konoe came into the clearing of the camp to find that there were no longer any remnants of a camp. Day was sat beside a few bags, writing away at the small book he always carried, a look of concentration on his face. Frowning when she went unnoticed, Konoe couldn't help but curse the Count silently, "You did this to him..." She muttered under her breath, somewhat sadly as she watched the boy she loved so long ago planning battle after battle in his own world, unable to approach him, and somewhat scared of him...

Minato smiled when Hazel spoke up about the plane, and hugged the girl tight once more before his hand's drew back to either side of her waist and he was smiling down at her, "Let's go catch ourselves a bug." He said, dipping down to peck the girl's cheek before he finally let go and turned away from her, walking to get their bags.

Nanashi couldn't help but smile at Virginia as he slowly stood up, stretching his arm's out for a moment before he glanced back at her, "This is one of the things I love about you, always looking out for others." He said, winking at her as he dipped down to steal a quick kiss from the girl. Lingering just by her afterwards, "And anyways, just how hard could this be." He said, smiling dazzlingly.

Day had been ever quiet throughout the plane ride, busying himself with his book while Konoe was left alone throughout the plane ride to fight her own nerves; she hated flying, and without someone to comfort her throughout it, she had been constantly tensed up in her seat, trying to keep herself from getting sick. As Day stepped out of the airport, unknowing of the glare Konoe was giving him from behind, he smiled out at the city, taking a deep breath, "It's been awhile since I've been here..." He commented, trailing off as he waited for Ari, his hand' sat his sides.

Minato was speechless as he stared out at Castelia city, or at least, what was left. The city had been almost completely wiped out, just like it's people. Knowing this, even though Minato felt somewhat smaller, he couldn't help but feel a bit of rage suddenly spark inside his chest as he waited for Hazel to catch up with him.

Ari hadn't spoken much during the flight. She had gotten herself a small black book a few days ago and, in an imitation of Day, she had started writing in it, as if it was a diary of some sort. Now, Ari's eyes flitted over her hometown as she stepped out of the airport, a genuine smile appearing on her face. Passing by Konoe with a small glance in the older girl's direction, Ari moved beside Day. "Ani-san, are we going to keep camping out?" she asked, a worried expression appearing on her face for the first time since she had left the airport, "The people here won't hesitate to turn you in to Team Eternity. While I do know a few people who could help us, I don't want to get any of them into danger, either." ~~~ Hazel's eyes immediately went wide as the plane slowly spiraled to the ground at the edge of the city. The city... the citizens... they had been completely annihilated. And her fellow passengers of the plane... they were acting like this was some sort of new tourist hot spot. As Hazel watched, another plane slowly landed, its passengers clambering to see the city as well. A wave of rage filled Hazel as she whirled around, glaring at her fellow passengers. When Hazel spoke, she surprised herself by remaining quite calm. "As the Duchess of Team Eternity, I ask all of you to please return to your planes and leave this site immediately." she announced. With that, she continued walking towards Minato. As she watched the tourists scatter, she mumbled to the boy, "I guess we can work without being interrupted by those tourists now..." ~~~ Virginia had barely stepped off the plane when she heard an authoritative voice announce that everyone was to leave immediately. Moments later, she spotted the speaker. Gently elbowing Nanashi, she mumbled, "Hey, look over there! Isn't that the Duchess? And who's that with her?" |

Day smiled as the younger Communicator emerged from the airport. Setting his hand on the smaller girl's head, he ruffled her hair lovingly, "Don't worry, kiddo. I already know that a lot of the people here don't...disagree with what Team Eternity is doing. We'll be staying in a hotel for the next few days while I get some...research..done." He said, taking his hand off her head again and setting it in his pocket, "I really don't want to repeat what happened in Ecruteak again, so we'l try our best to not cause too much trouble while we're here." He said, "I am a little hungry after that flight though...you wouldn't happen to know somewhere where we could get a bite to eat, would you?" He asked Ari happily.
Behind Ari and Day, Konoe couldn't help but feel a little left out and saddened by what Day was telling Ari, about Team Eternity, the organization she had grown up in, and while she knew that Day had a good reason to be mad at Team Eternity, it made her feel so bad inside because of what she was saying. She stayed silent as she stood in place, shifting her weight from foot to foot slowly, her hands clasped tightly in front of her as she looked around, trying to distract herself from what Day was saying.

Nanashi hadn't been paying too much attention when he and Virginia had stepped from the plane, so he hadn't hear Hazel at first. However, when Virginia mentioned the Duchess, Nanashi's attention immediately went to the girl that Virginia had pointed out. Staring at the Duchess and the boy next to her for a moment, a small smile touched Nanashi's lips, "That does indeed seem to be the Duchess...as for the boy...that would be one of my students, and probably a won bet..." He said. Walking towards the two, Nanashi set his hands in the pockets of his coat as he walked up to them, "Well if it isn't the princess." He greeted the Duchess happily, stopping in front of her and Minato, giving a small bow of his head to his close friend before looking to Minato, a mischievous smile on his face, "And...the knight in shining armor I presume." He said, his face and attitude not betraying his weakened physical state as he winked at the Duchess.

It had surprised Minato when he first noticed Nanashi, though a small smile played at his lips at the young mans presence. Though he stayed silent, Nanashi's sudden jibes caused his face to redden slowly as he remained silent next to Hazel.

Ari blinked at Day for a few moments before she shook her head apologetically. "Nope. We never really went out to restaurants when I lived here..." she mumbled. She seemed to hesitate for another moment before she grinned. "Actually, no, I know a good restaurant." she exclaimed, "It's a place called Ferguson's. My friend's mother owns the restaurant. Don't worry. She really dislikes Team Eternity and she makes really good hamburgers, too!" She smiled at Day and then at Konoe before saying confidently, "Follow me! It's this way!" ~~~ Hazel shot Nanashi a glance, as if saying, "Really?" She smiled at Virginia, murmuring, "Hello again, Virginia, was it? It's nice to see you again. Virginia, this is Minato, a friend and a Team Eternity Elite. Minato, this is Virginia, the Keldeo Communicator." Turning her attention back towards Nanashi, Hazel asked, "Are you guys here because you heard about the... situation, too? We're fairly sure that the damage was caused by the new Genesect Communicator, as Luca Gremory died a while ago. Someone was caught transforming into Genesect on some of our cameras..." ~~~ Virginia didn't say anything as Nanashi and Hazel spoke. She merely glanced at Nanashi, as if asking, "Are you sure this is a good idea? I don't trust them at all..." |

Day smiled at Ari when she mentioned a place to eat and didn't hesitate to follow the younger girl, shoving his hand's into the pockets of his long coat as he looked out ahead of Ari at all of the people, studying faces, looking out for anyone he recognized, and just allowing his curiousness to get the better of him since it had been awhile since he last visited a larger city. As he walked, Day failed to notice Konoe as she quickly moved after him, nervously wrapping her arm's around one of his own as they moved between people, an uneasy look on her face. Seeming to finally take notice to the blue haired girl, Day glanced down at Konoe, a questioning look on his face, "Nervous?" He asked, receiving a meek nod from the younger girl as she glanced up at him for a moment, "I'm sorry, I'm not really used to...bigger crowds." She said, attempting to ignore the curious looks people were giving her because of her fighting gear, while others simply ignored her, carrying on with their own lives. Day seemed to contemplate what the blue haired girl had said for a moment before he shrugged and looked forward again, glancing down at Ari from time to time to make sure she was still in sight. ~~~~~ Minato glanced from Nanashi to Virginia when Hazel mentioned the girl's name and what she was. Naturally, his instincts told him to reach for the pistol at his waist, but the way that Hazel seemed so calm in the presence of the girl, his hand remained still at his side. Nodding his head to the pink haired girl, he chose to keep quiet as he looked back to Nanashi, waiting for him to answer Hazel. ~~~~~ Nanashi had remained quiet as Hazel spoke, introducing Minato to Virginia and catching said girl's questioning look, which he responded to by smirking and shaking his head as he looked back to Hazel. He remained quiet, but when she mentioned that Luca Gremory had died, Nanashi seemed to stiffen a bit, though his only response was to close his eye's and take a deep breath, before smiling at Hazel, "We did indeed come here in search of the one that did...all this..." He said, glancing around the city. |

OOC: I'm just going to let you timeskip after this. Hazel nodded grimly. "Whoever this person is, he seems to be fairly dangerous. I suggest we find something to eat and a place to take shelter for the night and then we can continue our investigation tomorrow. After all, it is getting late." she mumbled, "Assuming you want to combine forces?" ~~~ Virginia's eyes widened when Hazel mentioned combining forces and the Keldeo Communicator glanced at Minato nervously, then at Nanashi, as if giving him the authority to make the final decision. |
