Blake Kessler stared up at the monumental building in front of him. He’d seen the building countless times before, but this time the scenario was very different. He wanted to reach the top floor of the building, an opportunity that he had been waiting for. The building has long since off-limits, but Team Eternity never seems to be in Snowpoint City anymore to enforce this rule. Glancing around him to make sure nobody was watching, Blake quickly and quietly slipped into Snowpoint Temple.
He journeyed up the tower, stopping about halfway for a quick break. After eating a quick snack, he hurried up to the next level, and was startled to see that the ground was completely frozen over. He wasn’t prepared for this kind of terrain, and tried to think of a way to bypass the frozen ground. When he saw nothing, he sighed and slipped and slid his way across the floor. A few of the next floors were like this.
After an hour of struggling, he collapsed onto the ground of a floor. Looking up, he was surprised to see what seemed to be the remains of a statue. He scrambled up and quickly dashed to the site. He looked at the remains of what seemed to have been a massive statue on top of a grandiose pedestal. Most of the engravings on the pedestal were illegible, but he could make out the letters “Regi”. He decided to take a small piece from the remains as a token of his unexpected find. That was 8 years ago, and it wasn’t until last year that he truly understood the significance of that tower and that statue.
