Rocket

(Bit of swearing~)

"Goddamnit!" Leo shouted, kicking a white rock off of the craggy beach into the water. The blue-green water was still before then, and rippled as the rock sunk deep into the water. She was his everything after they abandoned home.

And he killed her...

But his friends had told him to. No, they weren't his friends; they were now Leo's nemeses. He would kill them all, all four of them. He would watch their blood drip from their bodies, their eyes looking at him with fear. Leo was not bloodthirsty, but they deserved it...She did not deserve death for her beliefs, but they did. But how could Leo have been so stupid to believe them? Leo was stupid, they were stupid, life was stupid...

He remembered that moment, the moment in which he hardened and became a different man, the moment in which is eyes turned from blue to a steely gray...

"Who are you?" She said to him, as he approached. His steps were heavy against the cobblestone paths of the village, instructed by his once friends not to use stealth but to send a message to her "kind". In reality, she was none but a commonfolk, but apparently Leo's friends had something against her. Reluctantly, Leo unsheathed his dagger, and with one fell swoop, he closed his eyes and stabbed her in the shoulder. Not a scream was uttered from either person's mouth, and Leo withdrew the dagger, turned, and walked away. It was early morning and he was not quite sure why either parties were out, but he went along with his once friends wishes.

It was unnecessary, but it made Leo's quest to kill his nemeses necessary.

He was on a quest for redemption, and they would simply be in his way...or perhaps his final destination.
