Well, I'm not sure if we need to do this for each character we're bringing back, but I'll just do Rayna for now.
Rayna
3A. Write about your character's biggest regret from before he or she met the other Communicators.
Rayna had many regrets in her life, but if she had to pick the one thing she regretted most, it would be the day she ran away from home. That one decision trickled down into so many other problems, and if Rayna could've gone back and told her younger self to stay home, she would have. Of course, she wouldn't be who she is today if this hadn't happened, but in Rayna's eyes, that wouldn't be such a bad thing...
"Oh my god dad, just leave me the hell alone! I'm just trying to do something with myself!" Rayna screamed, throwing her dinner plate, shattering it against the kitchen wall. Her father flinched at the sound, and he tried to walk over to Rayna, but she backed away, still glaring at him angrily. They'd been fighting since dinner started, and it had escalated far faster than usual tonight. Rayna's brother and mother were both seated at the kitchen table, and as always, they both stayed on the sidelines, acting as quiet observers to the chaos. "Rayna, honey, there are bet-" Her father tried to speak, his voice still level and controlled, but it only upset Rayna more. "I get it, you think I'm screwing up! Like I do with everything! But you know what? I'll prove to you that I know what I'm doing." She says, turning and running upstairs. Once up in her room, Rayna slams the door closed and locks it, grabbing her phone and calling up one of her friends, Darcy. She heard her father trying to pry the door open and pled with her, but she ignored him without trouble. "Hey, I need you to pick me up as soon as you can. I'm done being here." She says bluntly, pulling out a backpack to stuff with things she wanted to take with her. Darcy had heard Rayna mention several times that running away interested her, and because of that, she knew exactly what Rayna meant when she asked to be picked up.
Roughly 10 minutes later, Rayna had packed up a small bag of essential things to bring along for her trip. The pounding at her door had ceased a while ago, since her parents probably thought she was cooling off like normal, but a twisted smirk appeared on Rayna's lips. "Well, they have another thing coming." She spits out, looking venomously at one of the family pictures on her desk. Her glaring halts when she feels her phone buzz in her bag, and after pulling out a goodbye note to leave on her unmade bed, Rayna climbs skillfully out her second story window like she had so many times before.
Rayna met up with Darcy a few blocks away, and Rayna smiled when her eyes found the purple car waiting. Climbing in, Rayna and Darcy exchanged smiles, and they quickly sped off, ready to go party and celebrate the supposed freedom Rayna had just gained. But little did they know, this party was serving as a final night of carefree fun before Rayna walked into what quickly became her own personal hell.
